Medical aid weighing 2.5 tonnes will cross the border into Syria at the end of December 2018 to bring relief to the refugee population that has been clustered in Idleb since the beginning of 2018. This donation of medicines to Syria is, once again, being carried out in partnership with the NGO UOSSM, which supplies and manages nearly 200 health centres in Syria. There are still more than 6 million displaced refugees in open-air camps, where the risk of contagion is very high due to deplorable hygiene conditions. The medical teams
have recently had to deal with polio epidemics.
