In support of the inhabitants of Beirut in Lebanon affected by this tragic explosion, Tulipe was mobilised to make a donation of 48 health kits. This donation represents more than 2 tonnes of medical products. This humanitarian aid, transported by the Crisis and Support Centre on Friday 7 August 2020, will be transferred to various hospitals in the city of Beirut and to Première Urgence Internationale. The medical NGO has been present in Beirut for several years. Tulipe’s teams are reaffirming their solidarity with the Lebanese people, whose health system was already severely weakened before the crisis. A second donation is already being prepared in coordination with the Ordre de Malte Liban. Tulipe has also made a donation of medicines to the French Red Cross in Lebanon.
