In February, Tulipe signed a partnership agreement with the humanitarian association Action Contre la Faim (ACF) to formalise its long-term support for the association.
This new partnership is of great importance to Tulipe because Action Contre la Faim is an organisation with genuine expertise and knowledge of the areas in which it operates. Every day, ACF responds to the needs of millions of undernourished people with an integrated approach, tackling both the causes and consequences of hunger through its 4 areas of expertise: nutrition and health; water, sanitation and hygiene; food security and livelihoods; mental health and care practices, gender and protection. Its teams also carry out scientific research to perfect its interventions.
Tulipe has been supporting Action contre la Faim for over a year through donations of medical product kits. 5 tonnes of health products were transferred in 2018 and 2019, resulting in 4 donations to supported health centres in Chad, the Central African Republic and Cameroon. Among other things, these donations of medicines enable Action Contre la Faim to quickly obtain health products for missions while waiting for more traditional supplies via international supply centres.
