Support for the ASCOVIM humanitarian association in Cameroon

In early 2021, Tulipe joined forces with the humanitarian organisation ASCOVIM, which operates in Cameroon’s northern territories. This initiative is supported by a number of doctors from the Yaoundé University Hospital and by several French organisations such as Gynécologie Sans Frontière and the Sanofi Espoir Foundation.
ASCOVIM organises regular medical missions to areas in the north-east of the country which are considered by the United Nations to be in extremely poor health and security conditions.
Tulipe sent an initial shipment of one tonne of health products, representing approximately one month’s activity in the field among the disadvantaged populations of these regions.
There are currently 6 million people in humanitarian distress in the country due to the increase in the number of refugees and the intensification of conflicts in the region.
