Karine Levesque re-elected for three years as president of Tulipe

At its meeting on 1 July, Tulipe’s Board of Directors re-elected Karine Levesque for a new three-year term as president of the association. This reappointment is in line with the work undertaken over the past year in an international context marked by numerous humanitarian crises.

In her statement of belief, Karine Levesque recalls:

‘I am prepared to devote the time necessary to carry out this mission as it deserves, with the same conviction as always: a commitment to working collectively to serve the most disadvantaged patients, wherever they may be.’

Karine Levesque has been re-elected president of the Tulipe association for a three-year term.

Review and outlook

Over the past year, the association has strengthened its partnerships and its capacity to respond to emergencies. Already, 90 tonnes of healthcare products have been shipped to 14 countries in 2025, with an estimated value of €9 million, compared to 158 tonnes for the whole of 2024.

Notable advances include the development of new strategic partnerships, notably with the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Healthcare Association, with more to come soon. The association has also embarked on structural projects such as the development of its healthcare product kits and the establishment of a needs planning platform.

An expanded bureau

The Board of Directors also appointed Vincent Bocart, Director of Engagement (Public Affairs, Communication & CSR) at Leem, as Secretary General of the association. He joins Karine Levesque (Chair) and Pascal Le Guyader (Treasurer) on the association’s executive committee.

This new executive committee structure aims to consolidate Tulipe’s governance and support its actions in relation to all stakeholders.

Four new board members

Four new directors have joined the Board to strengthen the representativeness and diversity of the companies involved:

  • Cécile Ruiz-Fouquer, Novartis
  • Armand Suicmez, Fresenius Kabi
  • Irène de la Porte, Astellas Pharma
  • Flore de Lamaze, Laboratoires Théa

The Board of Directors now has 20 directors representing companies

A renewed collective commitment

Through this renewed governance, Tulipe confirms its mission to implement collective and structured humanitarian action to serve the most vulnerable populations. The association continues to pursue its goal: to mobilise healthcare companies to provide appropriate and traceable healthcare products to partner NGOs wherever needs are identified.
