Getting involved
A free commitment to humanitarian causes
Skills sponsorship is a voluntary commitment by companies to serve causes of general interest. It consists of enabling employees to carry out actions of general interest, during their working hours and in their areas of expertise. Skills sponsorship is not considered to be voluntary work, but rather a way for a company to make its employees available for a specific task. It is governed by a specific agreement between the company and the beneficiary.
Tulipe puts healthcare companies in touch with NGOs
Tulipe coordinates the skills-based philanthropy of its member healthcare companies in support of partner NGOs and humanitarian organisations. This is an opportunity for our members to strengthen their commitment and invest in causes of general interest. The aim is to pass on some of our employees’ skills to organisations in need. In fact, each action meets a genuine need identified by the associations.
A rewarding mission for both parties
With the coordination of Tulipe, healthcare companies are committed to going even further in their support for NGOs. Depending on their wishes and needs, NGOs can benefit from information transfer and training on a long list of subjects mastered by employees of healthcare companies. As with the donation of medicines, Tulipe and healthcare companies work hand in hand to meet the needs of NGOs and humanitarian organisations.
A tailor-made response to specific needs
Skills sponsorship supervised by Tulipe offers NGOs and humanitarian organisations a solution for meeting technical needs in specific areas. Often faced with challenges requiring specific expertise, these associations can benefit from the know-how of our member healthcare companies. Skills sponsorship enables a productive exchange between two organisations, which saves time and money for humanitarian organisations.
A wide range of skills for comprehensive solutions
The expertise of healthcare companies is not limited to the design of medicines, but extends to a wide range of fields:
