The Tulipe Association, partner of the PQMD Global Health Policy Forum

On the theme of “European leadership in the global health agenda”, the PQMD(Partnership for Quality Medical Donations) Global Health Policy Forum will bring together more than 100 world health leaders in Paris from 25 to 27 April. The Tulipe Association will be represented by its President, Patrice Carayon.

Speakers and panellists from over 70 organisations around the world will lead in-depth discussions. The forum will be opened by Vanina Laurent-Ledru, Managing Director of Foundation S – The Sanofi Collective, and Patrice Carayon, President of the Tulipe Association, two partner organisations that have helped to organise the event in Paris. This annual event was created to discuss concrete actions to improve access to healthcare for people living in areas affected by crisis, war or natural disasters. This is achieved by working to ensure the irreproachable quality of medical products and services, and by donating devices in these areas.

Two days of working sessions between healthcare stakeholders

“Being in Paris will enable European voices and perspectives to be better heard at a time when the region’s imperatives and interventions are rapidly evolving. The programme will consist of an executive forum followed by two days of exciting sessions focusing on key aspects of this year’s theme: European Leadership in the Global Health Agenda”, explain the organisers. The exchanges also aim to “bring together cross-cutting knowledge to address current global public health challenges and future opportunities”.

The PQMD(Partnership for Quality Medical Donations ) is a unique alliance of not-for-profit organisations (of which the Tulipe association is a member) and companies that are actively committed, in particular with local partners and NGOs, to improving access to healthcare for vulnerable populations in landlocked areas, conflict zones or crisis situations.
