Our network
Making medical products available to NGOs and humanitarian organisations
Thanks to donations of health products from our member companies, Tulipe provides aid to associations operating in emergency situations throughout the world. Because donations of medicines or medical equipment are not like other donations, we carefully examine each application submitted by our partners. Several criteria are taken into account, such as the degree of urgency, the location of the mission, the situation and the stocks available at the time the medicines are donated.
Long-term support for our partners
To anticipate the design of the health kits as far as possible, we call on our member healthcare companies several times a year. The medical products donated by these companies meet specific expectations. They comply with WHO recommendations and the specific requests of the beneficiary NGOs. In times of crisis, the frequency of requests may be increased.
Tulipe guarantees the traceability and correct use of medicines
Our main raison d’être is to guarantee the traceability and correct use of medicines to our partners. To guarantee the correct use of medicines in the field, Tulipe selects operators in the field. NGOs and humanitarian associations must have qualified medical personnel to ensure the correct use of medicines. They must also have an operating procedure that is consistent with the urgency of the crisis and the context.
In 2023, Tulipe has 19 NGO partners
We are also working with the crisis centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health.
